Aquametro proudly announces that it has been contracted by Shenzhen Huawei Offshore Shipping to equip two of their Supply Vessels with our Remote Monitoring System RMS.

The two supply vessels are charted by Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP). The first vessel that has been equipped is Hua Ji.  The RMS is monitoring the following engines aboard the vessel: 4 diesel engines, 1 harbor generator and 1 bunker meter.

In addition to monitoring individual engine fuel consumption, the system also tracks individual power output in kW to identify periods of high fuel usage. Furthermore, it monitors loading and transfer fuel lines. All monitored readings and events are transmitted back to shore for analysis by charterers and ship owners, providing enhanced control over engine performance through our web portal and mobile app.

The whole RMS commissioning was performed and supported by Aquametro engineer Hank Hu with the assistance from the onboard electrician in the shipyard at ZhenJiang, China.

Shenzhen Huawei Offshore Shipping Co., Ltd. operates and manages more than 20 three-purpose working ships, mainly for the Offshore industry. The company is headquartered in Shenzhen, China and has about 600 employees.
