Aquametro powers up Bahtera Pertiwi with rapid commissioning of its advanced Remote Fuel Monitoring System (RMS)

Since 2020, Aquametro has been supporting Bourbon Offshore with their chartering requirements related to fuel monitoring systems.

In early April 2025, we completed the commissioning of our Remote Monitoring System RMS onboard Offshore Supply Vessel Bahtera Pertiwi that is managed by Bourbon Offshore. The shipset installed onboard is equipped with flow meters to monitor onboard Diesel Generators (DG) and a Harbor Generator.  The system also integrates to their onboard AMS for the individual engine parameters (Power Output kW). The vessel is now ready to be chartered to an oil major in Thailand.

This project was executed on a highly compressed timeline. Aquametro and the customer collaborated closely - from logistics and delivery to installation and commissioning - completing everything within just three weeks of the order. It was a true demonstration of partnership with the Bourbon Technical team.

Onboard the vessel, RMS monitors the following engines:
              4 Diesel Generators’ fuel consumption
              1 Harbor Generator
4 Diesel + 1 Harbor Generators’ power output kW

These monitored fuel consumption readings and events are transferred back to shore to charterers and ship owners for data analysis and better control of the engine performance through our web portal and mobile app.
