Precision at Sea: Crystal Offshore Embraces Smart Fuel Monitoring from AOM
We are pleased to share another successful commissioning of Aquametro’s Remote Monitoring System (RMS Smart) for Crystal Offshore, tailored to their internal fuel monitoring system requirements.
On 4 August 2025, we completed the first commissioning onboard the tugboat Crystal Veda for Crystal Offshore. The vessel is equipped with flow meters for both main engines, integrated with each engine’s RPM data. Now ready for operation in Labuan, this milestone was achieved through close collaboration with Crystal Offshore’s technical and operations teams.
Onboard Monitoring Scope:
- Fuel consumption for 2 main engines
- RPM for 2 main engines
All monitored fuel consumption data, readings, and related events are transmitted to shore, enabling charterers and ship owners to perform detailed analysis and exercise better control over engine performance via our web portal and mobile app.
