The first day of Safety4Sea’s GREEN4SEA Virtual Forum 2021 was focusing on challenges for the maritime industry on its way to become greener and best practices on how to face these challenges.
On Panel #2 of the Virtual Forum four industry experts discussed best practices for green shipping. Aquametro Oil & Marine’s International Sales Manager Martin Hees pointed out that the accurate measurement of basic operation parameters creates the basis for analyzing and optimizing a vessel’s performance. Thus, allowing ship operators to reduce their carbon footprint.
