TB Marine trust on AOMs SHaPoLi and performance monitoring to meet EEXI & CII requirements

Aquametro Oil & Marine proudly announces that it has been awarded with an order for 10 sets of measurement and monitoring devices by TB Marine Cont Shipmanagement GmbH & Co. KG. The first vessel to be equipped is MV Olivia. Nine more vessels will follow in the next 6 months.

For each vessel AOM supplies a set of measurement and monitoring devices consisting of a Shaft Power Meter (SPM) including SHaPoLi-related software, a Fuel Performance System FPS
as well as respective digital flowmeters. This is the first fleet related project for AOM with TB Marine Cont Shipmanagement GmbH & Co. KG.

The Shaft Power Meter is an easy and cost-effective solution to meet EEXI & CII requirements.
It is the key component for measuring ship performance and fuel/ propulsion efficiency. The system is easy to install and requires no electronic parts on the shaft. The system operates absolutely contact-free.
The DNV-approved ShaPoLi-related features acc. MEPC 335 (76) (subject to case-by-case verification) include:

• Shaft power measurement devices to measure shaft rpm, shaft torque, shaft power
• Data processing and recording of shaft rpm, shaft torque and shaft power in unlimited mode
• Indication of shaft power limit exceedance
• Recording of use of a power reserve
• Interfaces applicable for power limitation override alarm acc. IACS Rec. 172, Sec. 6.6
